About
Greg Cross is the author and illustrator of Plunderbum the Bright-Color Bandit, his debut Christian children’s picture book. Drawing on a lifelong love of storytelling, creativity, and faith, he crafts colorful, imaginative tales that inspire young readers to embrace kindness, courage, and God’s love. He is also Chairman of the Board of Big Discoveries, a company dedicated to developing children’s games, toys, and puzzles that spark curiosity and joy. A father of four and grandfather of five, Greg lives in Arvada, Colorado, where he enjoys family time, hiking in the mountains, and creating new stories that point children toward hope, prayer and Christian faith.
My Story
I've always loved the company of kids, in part because in their presence, I become more childlike, more aware of the beauty and majesty God's world has to offer.
My current project is writing/illustrating Little Angel Eli, God's Chosen One. It's a story of God chosing "the least of these," young Eli, to minister to and befriend Jesus, from from His birth to His resurrection. I believe children are hungry for heroes, and the mightiest of them all is loving, forgiving, powerful Jesus.
